I love these see-through lids, watching the steam fogging the pan, and then forming drops of water on the surface, which accumulate, accumulate, and suddenly flow back to the pan! Ah! The poetry of cooking! No, seriously, it's a good lid. It also has a small hole that allows excess steam to get out.
