Don't buy the Deni 8255 skillet. It's junk! The temperature control kicks-on low and continues until it burns the food.It doesn't have a good non-stick surface and the cast aluminum is thin.Get the Presto 06850 16-inch Electric Skillet instead.I did and rated it 5-stars.The Deni is NOT worth buying.

Product Description:
A must-have for any busy kitchen, this extra-large 12-by-15-inch electric skillet comes in handy for anything from pancakes and bacon in the morning to grilled-cheese sandwiches for lunch or beef stroganoff for dinner. The unit's variable temperature control can be set to simmer, griddle, fry, saute, stir-fry, slow cook, roast, or keep warm. Simply insert the adjustable temperature probe and turn the dial from warm to 450 degrees F. The indicator light will turn on; when the light turns off, the skillet has reached its desired temperature. The unit's nonstick surface ensures effortless food release without the need for oil or butter, and its heat-resistant handles make it safe to transfer the skillet to the table for use as a serving dish. Even more, its tempered-glass lid with a stainless-steel rim and cool-touch knob allows for monitoring cooking food at a glance. A user manual with instructions and great-tasting recipes comes included. The 1300-watt electric skillet measures approximately 13 by 18 by 6 inches and carries a one-year limited warranty.
