Kalorik GR28215 Indoor/Outdoor Nonstick Carry Grill/Griddle with Glass Lid Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is my first electric grill so I needed more information than this product provides. Under safety precautions, it says to put water in the tray but when you go to read the operating section, it doesn't mention it so you don't know how much water to put in the tray. Plus, there are absolutely no recipes so you can get the hang of your new grill so I had to buy a separate book about it but even it has recipes that are too gourmet for me so although I think it is probably a good product, the documentation is sorely lacking. When I went to their website, it is in another country and it crashed my PC, so that wasn't helpful either. Will probably not buy another product from this company.

Product Description:
Ideal for summertime grilling any time of year, this uniquely designed indoor/outdoor electric countertop grill features a generous cooking surface that can accommodate meals for both couples and small-size families. Its dual-purpose cooking area provides two separate side-by-side cooking zones: a ribbed grilling surface and a smooth griddle surface. Use the griddle cooking zone for making silver-dollar pancakes, eggs, and other breakfast fare; the grilling cooking area works well for anything from hamburgers, salmon fillets, and marinated tofu to slices of eggplant, summer squash, peppers, and more. Best of all, the grill's ribbed surface sears those tasty grill marks into food, while raising food up and away from excess grease and oil, channeling it down and away from food and into the drip tray for healthier results. A little water can be added to the drip tray to grill without any smoke. Both the grill and the griddle offer a high-quality nonstick surface, which helps ensure lower fat cooking (no need for excess butter or oil), effortless food release, and quick cleanup. Even more, the appliance offers a tempered glass lid that closes to trap in heat while still allowing for checking on food at a glance--the lid also doubles as a wind shield when cooking out doors. With the lid in the closed position, the appliance looks a bit like a briefcase, complete with a carrying handle and an upright-standing design for convenient transport and space-saving storage when not in use. Other highlights include adjustable temperature control, an "on" indicator light, and dishwasher-safe parts for quick cleanup. A nice choice for at home or to take along to the beach house or cabin, the 1500-watt indoor/outdoor grill measures 19-1/2 by 19-1/4 by 4-1/2 inches and carries a one-year limited warranty.
