Nordic Ware Norwegian Krumkake Iron Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My husband bought this for me as an anniversary present (I have been wanting one for ages)!I absolutely love it.Even though it is time intensive, standing at the stove, you get rewarding results! The woodenhandle prevents you from getting any burns; just make sure you don't touchthe other handle--ouch!Unlike a waffle iron, you don't need to grease thekrumkake iron.It seasons itself during the first use!I would recommendthis product to anyone who loves good, old-fashioned taste and who doesn'tmind spending a couple of hours achieving it.

Bethany Plett Pan Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I have made only one attempt to use this plett pan, but it was very disappointing. No matter how well-greased the pan was, it was nearly impossible to turn the pancakes when they had cooked on one side. The pancakes stuck to the pan and burned as a result of my being unable to turn them in a timely fashion.I do not know if it is the texture of the pan, but as there were no instructions with it and it was, obviously, cheaply made in China, I would not recommend this version to anyone.

Nordic Ware Round Cooling Rack, 12 Inch Diameter Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I had some round cake cooling racks but alas after all these year some of the wires were coming off and another reason for ordering...I only had two round racks. Sometimes I bake 3 round layers and I hate wrestling with the oblong racks for a round cake.

Was I surprised when these arrived. Large than my old pair...will hold the largest cake I'll ever bake..13" in diameter and teflon coated. I am delighted with the price and quality (what can you expect from Nordic?) of these mundane cake racks. Fast shipment also!

Nordic Ware 8 Inch Heat Tamer and Burner Plate Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)These burner plates work very well.I was tired of getting ugly ring marks on my pots and tea kettle, so I ordered these plates. They evenly distribute heat, so if you have a pot or pan that's in between the small and large size on your range, you can still cook food perfectly. It helps eliminate hot spots on my warped aluminum griddle and it works like a dream when used with cast iron cookware!Plus, they keep the range top much cleaner.Once you reach your desired heat, you can reduce the heat by a third and continue cooking/boiling your food; this conserves energy. All in all, a great product.I would highly recommend these plates. The cost of shipping is equal to the cost of the burners themselves - which seems ridiculous - but they are cast-iron and heavy; I used a gift certificate so it didn't seem too bad.I haven't been able to find these in stores (the aluminum ones are decorative only), but knowing what I know now, I would gladly purchase these again and pay the crazy shipping rate.[...]
