(More customer reviews)Currently, the product page here at Amazon says "Tight fitting covers seal in flavors", which sounds to me like it's supposed to come with a lid, and it doesn't.It's a great pan, nevertheless.I love the 3-quart size.One thing that's a little annoying about it, but I'm not sure it could be changed, is, it has no lip whatsoever and the metal is fairly thick so it pours horribly.I occasionally make tea for ice tea in it, and you have to dip out the tea with another cup until the pan is at least less than one-half full. If you try to pour liquid out of the pan with the pan about a half full or more, it will invariably run down the side of the pan and make a mess, no matter how hard you try to be careful. Still, a good, solid cooking pan.

It turns out we use it far more often than we expected, because it holds a lot, has straight sides so a good flat area on the bottom, and yet isn't too big or too heavy to be a good everyday choice. Not to mention it is quite good looking. The lid is heavy and fits well, the handles are sturdy, and the base is nice and thick.

The one thing I would say is, silicone coated handles are a really nice feature and this pot doesn't have them. But, that being said, we still love the pot.

Cuisinox Elite 3 Quart Covered Saucepan Review

(More customer reviews)I own a number of All Clad pieces, and was planning to buy this size saucepan from All Clad, but in reading reviews of tri-clad cookware, I came across Cuisinox Elite reviews that seemed interesting. I decided to buy this pot and see how it stacked up. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. It appears to have the quality of All Clad at a significantly lower price. It is well finished, the lid has a nice fit, and the pot is substantial.I just finished my first sauce in it, and I am even more impressed. It has great heat distribution, meaning that I was able to prepare a very thick, creamy sauce with no sticking to sides or bottom. I strongly prefer stainless to non-stick, for a number of reasons, and this is quality stainless. I believe it is equal to All Clad in overall finish and cooking qualities--and for a lot less money. I love my All Clad, but I am planning to buy my next piece of cookware from Cuisinox.

(More customer reviews)The other reviewer is right about old Revere Ware; its great stuff that'll last forever. However, newer Revere Ware, like what's being advertised here, is total junk. I own an old 2qt saucepan and a brand new 4.5qt Dutch oven. The Dutch oven isflimsy and the lid doesn't fit well. If you want good Revere Ware make sure it's from the USA (not Indonesia, like the new stuff) and OLD. Try yard sales or ebay. The only thing to recommend new Revere ware is the 25 year warranty. That is the only way the old and new products are comparable.

Pro-Clad saucepan, it does not exist!If you order it, you will get a saute pan, not a sauce pan (not even close to the same thing, FYI).I really wish there was a way to get a 4 qt. saucepan, but your only choice is to either go with the cheaper Emerilware "Stainless" line with the copper clad bottom, or fork over the big$ for the All-Clad stainless pan ($199.95 yikes!).I wish Amazon would fix this...I almost ordered if for my wife before I called All-Clad to check and they verified it does not exist!

(More customer reviews)I fondly remember growing up with Revere cookware during the '50s and '60s.It was sturdy and manufactured with care to precise measurements.Unfortunately, this is NOT the same product.Apparently, Revere cookware is now being manufactured in some third-world dumpster.The overall construction is flimsy; it bends and dents easily.None of the lids fit properly.The unreasonably thin "copper-cladding" was unevenly applied and looks like a roller-coaster ride around the sides of the saucepans.Revere needs to clean-up its act, or go out-of-business.

THe new one is terrible - way less material - feels flimsy and it buckled the first time I used it. it now rocks around on a convex base.

Don't buy this if you are expecting the quality provided by Revere in the past.
