Contrary to what one reviewer wrote, the pot does come with a glass lid. I guess his order was screwed up. The pot is very easy to clean, looks nice, and handles like quality. Oh, and its cheap! Can't ask for more.

I ordered two of these in December for a cost of $3.52 each... amazing price so I was willing to 'risk' it sight-unseen.Pans are wonderful... great nonstick. And for that price it doesn't matter how long they last, although it appears they'll be around quite a while.

I have the Kitchenaid 5 ply cookware set which is wonderful, but needed some non stick cookware.I have the Calphalon 10" griddle. The non stick is great, but the outside of it is horrible! No matter what I do it looks dirty.I swore never to buy anymore hard anodized cookware, but the price on this Kitchenaid pan was so good I decided to give it a try.It is wonderful! The nonstick surface truly is nonstick, and the outside stays clean looking!I love this pan!!!

Update
February, 2010 and I still love this pan.It is a good as new, and I use it frequently

Calphalon One Nonstick 12-Inch Covered Fry Pan Review

Calphalon One Nonstick 12 inch Covered Fry Pan
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I usually don't use Nonstick very much and prefer the Calphalon One Infused Anodized pans. But, sometimes there are eggs and cheese and sticky stuff to deal with.I have usually bought a set of less expensive Nonstick in sets, an 8", 10" and 12" and they are usually good for 1 or 2 years and then I toss them and buy another inexpensive set. Pricier Nonstick has problems after a few years too, but with Calphalon One's Lifetime Warranty and a low price tag I thought I'd give it a shot.

This Calphalon One 12" Nonstick Pan with a lid was a promotional deal just too good to pass up for $49.95 (usually $130 without a lid) and so I bought 2 and gave one to a friend as a gift. She loves it. Over the past 5 weeks I have used mine at least a dozen times for eggs and cheesy foods and it works just fine just like a quality pan should.Food glides right out of the pan and the 12" high-quality glass lid is a great feature. The pan itself is also a rugged high-quality pan one would expect from Calphalon One. I have 6 other Calphalon One Pans and this one is high-quality just like all the others. Made in the USA with a Lifetime Warranty which they do honor. With the Nonstick it is a good idea to season the pan with Xtra Virgin Olive Oil when you first get the new pan.

I'd encourage anyone looking for a high-quality 12" Nonstick pan to buy this one at $49.95 before the promo price ends. The only difference between this one and the non-promo pan( at $130) is that this one has a $35 lid included and does not have the helper handle...which I seldom use anyway.A great deal you should not miss.Cheers!

2 Year Update 2/23/10:I have used this pan now for over 2 years and the nonstick is still in very good condition as well as the entire pan.I would guess that I have cooked with it about 450 times in the 2 year period.I usually will use it with anything that could be sticky like eggs, cheese, bacon, etc.I do notice that the nonstick surface is not as pristine as it was 2 years ago and I notice a few very light marks although I only use nylon or wood utensils with it.I also season it from time to time with Xtra Virgin Olive Oil.Otherwise, it is 2 years old and cooking great and the nonstick is working just fine, something my cheapie pans never could do after a year or so.

Calphalon One Infused Anodized 11-Inch Chef's Skillet with Lid Review

Calphalon One Infused Anodized 11 inch Chef's Skillet with Lid
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I've had this pan for a while now. It's expensive and it worried me because I've haven't had good experiences with surfaces that weren't non-stick.Here are some useful tips.

1.Use medium to medium-high heat
2.Use just a little bit of oil
3.This is a skillet, use it like one.

Cooking with a skillet, you _WANT_ things to adhere to the bottom. The reason is because chefs like to deglaze the bottom of skillets to make sauces with the caramelized bits. You can control the amount that adheres to the bottom of this pan by how much liquid is on your meats before you throw them in.If they are dry and they meet hot oil, there will be little stuck to the bottom of the pan, but usually enough to make a sauce. If they are moist, you'll have some nice stuff to work with, but it might cause meats to actually stick to the bottom of the pan.If it is dripping wet with marinade or what not, you're going to have a sticky mess but also potentially a nice sauce.

Deglazing is so easy with this pan.No hard scrubbing or rubbing.Right after cooking meats, I turn off the heat.Pour out any excess fats. And then wait about 30 seconds and pour some warm water into the skillet.Wait another 30 seconds or so, and then start stirring with a spatula. In a few seconds, beautiful sauce and everything has released from the bottom of the pan with little effort.

I give this a four-star because its a non-intuitive pan.It produces wonderful results but its also limited in its usefulness.

Product Description:
This exciting hybrid combines qualities of both traditional metal and non-stick cooking surfaces. Now not only can you brown, sear, and reduce sauces as the recipe intended, but you can also breathe a sigh of relief as you won't have a battle removing food and stains from the pan following use. How did this happen you ask? CALPHALON ONE INFUSED ANODIZED is manufactured with a revolutionary anodization process. Both interior and exterior surfaces are infused with an advanced release polymer which actually penetrates below the surface of the metal, into its very pores, offering superb durability and versatility. The intrinsic properties of aluminum ensure fast and even heating, as you've come to expect from Calphalon. Curved, sloping sides facilitate the movement of chef's spoons and other cooking utensils as the food is sauteed or simmered. This pan is handy for stir frying, sauteing, and creating skillet dinners.
