Paula Deen Signature Porcelain 12-Piece Cookware Set, Orange Review

This new cookware by Paula Deen is fabulous!Nothing sticks to it on the inside or outside. It cleans up fast and easy.Stays looking beautiful.Last year, I purchased the Rachel Ray orange cookware set.It sucked!Everything stuck to the outside of the pans. You couldn't even scrub them clean, because even non-abrasive scrubbers would scratch the paint. They looked 10 years old after 2 months. It was ridiculous.I'm so much happier with my new Paula Deen orange cookware set.Fabulous and beautiful!

This skillet is not only great for cooking, but because of its stainless steel exterior, it gives off a nice look to any kitchen. The skillet is big and there is enough room to cook lots of different things. The handle stays cool to the touch. I have used it for a while now and it still looks new. I always dry it after though, because i do not want water spots from letting it dry in the dish rack. really easy to clean!!

Keep an eye out for it though at Home Goods because I found it there for 20 dollars back in February.! Its way cheaper than overpaying for it.

I absoultely love this pan. Food does not stick(I use EVOO spray) and it's a quick clean in the sink.My only advice is DO NOT put this in the dishwasher. The bottom will start to turn sliver. Also if you scratch with a fork or sharp object, it will start to turn a rusty color overtime when using a dishwasher. Use a spatula and wash in the sink. Yes, this is my second one due to not listening to the instructions. NO Dishwasher. After owning one month, still looks brand new. One more helpful advice is when washing make sure food isn't trapped underneath the inside edge of the two handle screws. Hope this helps...

Update 5-22-09:Just wanted to let you know the pan is still in perfect condition. I eventually went ahead and bought the whole set around Christmas time for a really great price. All pieces still look brand new. By the way, we do use one or two pans atleast 5-6 days a week.

Product Description:
From Rachael Ray's hard-anodized line of cookware, this 12-inch open skillet excels at browning chicken tenders, frying bacon, and cooking omelets alike. The skillet's hard-anodized aluminum construction distributes even heat while it deflects dents, corrosion, and other signs of wear and tear. Nonstick coating to the skillet interior enables greater ease while cooking and cleaning. To steady the skillet while cooking or to remove it from the burner, a handle is securely rivets to the skillet's side. An orange silicone rubber sleeve provides a comfortable handle grip which, when placed in the oven, sustains temperatures up to 400 degrees F. For enhanced storage options, the handle's end offers a pre-installed hanging hole. Wash the skillet by hand while avoiding abrasive pads and cleansers to preserve the nonstick treatment. A limited lifetime warranty covers this item. Made in China, the skillet measures 20-1/3 by 12 by 4-4/5 inches and weighs 2-1/2 pounds upon shipping.
